GSO Sponsors and Participates in the Mobility 360 Innovation in Sustainable Mobility Conference
The GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), sponsors the ” The Mobility 360 Innovation in Sustainable Mobility Conference held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, on 2-3 September 2018 under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The participation of the GSO in this conference and the accompanying exhibition is contributing in raising awareness of standardization with focusing on the Gulf technical regulations related to vehicles, introducing the electronic system of Gulf conformity certificates, GSO plan to develop Gulf conformity certificates, and future directions for new vehicle technologies.
GSO, through its workshop at the conference, aims to introduce the Gulf standard and technical regulations that is supporting the electric vehicles industry to prepare the GCC markets to receive these vehicles and to achieve their safety and efficiency.
This conference is organized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Middle East and partnership with the GSO and sponsored by Ebrahim K. Kanoo B.S.C.(c).
The Mobility 360 Innovation in Sustainable Mobility Conference has been attended by a number of international and regional experts and specialists and it aims to review the available opportunities to the private sector to provide the market with electric vehicles, and to learn about the different characteristics of these vehicles and the long-term savings compared to fuel-powered vehicles.
