This training course aims to:

·     Presenting the GCC methodology for developing and implementing the Gulf Standards,

·     Explore the European experience in developing directives and related legislation, focusing on the European methodology for drafting regulations and the mechanisms for regulatory impact assessment studies. Participants will examine how priorities are set for legislation  in the European market and how challenges within the European system are managed.

·     Understanding the European Experience:

-     Gaining insights into the European methodology for drafting directives and their application in the European market.

-     Exploring how priorities for directives are established in the European Union and assessing their market impact.

·     Key Lessons Learned: Analyzing the key lessons from the European experience, including successes and challenges within the European scheme, and determining how these lessons can be applied to the GCC context.

·     Enhancing GCC Standards : Utilizing the European experience to strengthen the development and issuance of standards  in the GCC, considering the unique challenges and opportunities in the GCC market.

·     Addressing Challenges:

Understanding the challenges faced by the European scheme and how they are overcome to ensure the successful implementation of standards  in the GCC market.
