 Course Introduction

The main subject of this training course is to prepare assessors of conformity assessment bodies for the purposes of notification operations conducted by GSO.

Course Objectives

This training course aims at preparing assessors of conformity assessment bodies by giving them the main legal and technical tools necessary for the purposes of assessment, comprising the legal framework, technical requirements and conformity assessment procedures.

The course comprises case studies on technical assessment as one of the main components

Who Should Attend

Specialists in various conformity assessment related bodies (standardization bodies, laboratories & other inspection and certification bodies);

Prerequisites for participation:

• Good knowledge of main GSO technical regulations on products categories and notification.
• Good knowledge of the main requirements on conformity assessment within the relevant standards (ISO/IEC17020, ISO/IEC17025, ISO/IEC17065).
• Good level in English (considering documents used, particularly for case studies\
