GSO 194-1:2021 Scope

This standard concerned with wheat flour, fortified wheat flour and enhanced wheat flour intended for direct human consumption, which prepared by the common wheat flour (triticum aestivum L), or the Club wheat (triticum compactum host) or mixture of them. That is ready packed for sale or intended for use in other food products. And does not include the following: - Any product made of durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) alone or mixed with any other wheat types. - Wheat flour that is intended as a fermentation ingredient or production of starch and/or gluten. - Industrial, non-edible wheat flour. - Reduced protein content wheat flour, or It was subjected to a special treatment other than drying or bleaching, or other ingredients were added to it after the grinding process are not mentioned in the items 5.9 and 5.10.
